1. Booking
Reservations can be made directly with the Hôtel du Pont Blanc, by telephone, by e-mail, on the hotel’s website or through platforms and booking partners.
The reservation becomes firm after receipt of the booking confirmation and, according to the conditions of the chosen rate, after guarantee by credit card or payment of the requested sums.
The applicable cancellation and payment conditions are those indicated at the time of booking and shown on the confirmation addressed to the customer.
For bookings made through a booking platform, the special conditions of this platform may also apply.
The establishment reserves the right to refuse a reservation when the information communicated is incomplete, incorrect or when the payment method provided does not allow to guarantee the reservation.
Benefits are payable in euros. The bank cards accepted are those indicated by the establishment at the time of booking or payment.
2. Deposits – Individual bookings
Unless otherwise stated, the sums paid on booking for an individual reservation constitute deposits.
For reservations subject to the deposit, the amount requested is 20% of the total amount of the stay.
Cancellation more than 7 days before arrival: deposits corresponding to 20% of the total amount of the stay remain acquired at the establishment. When the customer has paid a sum greater than the deposit requested, the balance possibly paid above 20% is refunded.
Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival: the total amount of the stay is due. The establishment may debit or charge the remaining balance due.
Non-presentation (no-show): in case of no-show on the expected date of arrival, without prior cancellation under the conditions provided above, the total amount of the stay is due.
Early departure: any stay started and shortened at the initiative of the customer remains due in its entirety. No reduction or refund can be granted for non-consumed nights when early departure results from the customer’s decision.
The special provisions provided for certain rates, in particular non-cancellable and non-refundable rates, prevail over these general conditions when they are expressly indicated at the time of booking.
3. Non-cancellable and non-refundable rates
Some rates may be subject to special cancellation and payment conditions, including non-cancellable and non-refundable rates.
When the customer chooses such a rate, the special conditions displayed at the time of booking and recalled on the confirmation are contractual.
4. Group Bookings – From 5 rooms
Any reservation relating to 5 or more rooms, for the same period and date of arrival, is considered as a group reservation, whether made in one or more reservations related to each other.
A deposit of 20% of the total amount of the stay is requested upon confirmation of the reservation. This deposit constitutes a firm commitment of the group and is charged against the total amount of the stay.
The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 30 days before the date of arrival.
In case of cancellation of the entire reservation 30 days or more before the arrival date, the deposit of 20% remains acquired at the property and the balance is not charged.
In case of cancellation of the entire reservation less than 30 days before the date of arrival, the total amount of the stay is due and charged.
A reduction in the number of rooms is possible free of charge up to 20% of the initial number of rooms, provided that this reduction is requested no later than 30 days before the date of arrival.
This reduction is calculated on the basis of the initial number of confirmed chambers. Beyond 20%, or for any reduction requested less than 30 days before arrival, the establishment may apply the cancellation conditions provided for the groups.
Any changes must be requested in writing and confirmed by the institution.
5. Modification of a reservation
Any request for modification must be made in writing, preferably by e-mail.
A change is only considered accepted after written confirmation from the institution.
